Privacy

This site does not perform any user-identifiable tracking. I do not use analytics, advertising, or cookies, or embed any third-party resources that might.

My web server does keep standard logs of HTTP requests, including the IP address, date and time, the requested file, the response status and size, the referring page if any, and the browser's user agent string. The site is hosted by DreamHost, who operate the server and retain those logs under their own policy. They are not sold or shared, except where I am legally required to produce them.

Your data

If you send me a message, whether through a form on this site or by any other route, I receive only what you choose to put in it, and will only use it to get back in touch with you. I do not add you to a mailing list, and I do not sell or share your details. I will delete this data upon request.

JavaScript

Every effort is made to make this site work without JavaScript. It is only used for minor aesthetic things, and potentially for interactive embedded projects. The latter may maintain local storage in your browser for your convenience, but does not send user information back to my server (other than HTTP requests as above).

Links out

Links that lead out of the Dial and Hands site will take you to sites that are not subject to this privacy policy. I have no control over what they may collect.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date.
